When we touch down with Playbox01 (weekends during June and July) we’d love to work with a team of people who can give the participants a wonderfully warm, fun experience.
We will be outdoor and in all weathers welcoming and facilitating all ages of people to come play. We will have a carousel of fun and creative happenings, including table top reminiscing and future fabricating, a pop up Play Agent photo booth and dressing up area, and lots of field-based open-ended and loose parts play.
Role 1: We are looking for 2 people who love to facilitate great play experiences for all ages, and feel confident/comfortable with toddlers to teens. If you have experience with public spaces and love people, can encourage and enthuse people to make, create, build and dream, then we’d love to hear from you.
Role 2: Whilst all the wonderful haven space of fun and imagination is underway, we’d love for a person who can really deeply hear, listen and reflect to be able to record, take notes, and create from this sound/audio snippets, video and reflective notes. To help the team to share back what they have heard, felt and captured so that this enables us in the formation of our Playlaws Plaques* We’re looking for a sensitivity, an appreciation of the poetic, the daft, the fleeting, the wonderful and the ability to translate that into something we can link to on the website and the Playlaws resources for future torch bearers for play and creativity in public spaces in Cambridge.
Role 3: Are you great with props, and encouraging fabulous photos of people and can spark the future of Play Agents within Cambridge. We’re looking for a person to look after our pop up photo booth and peepboard photographer to capture the silly and sensational disguises and Play Agent names, supporting participants to upload their images to the Play Agent directory.
